1. The Official Season Launch October 1 2009 Kick-off event where website, categories, judges plans are all unveiled for the new season. We also unveiled our “I represent Nigeria” media campaign
2. Abuja Town Hall Meeting October 8 Meeting with communities of young people, especially youth leaders, outside of the country – some of whom will become TFA (The Future Awards) Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators
Kaduna Town Hall Meeting October 10 Meeting with communities of young people, especially youth leaders, outside of the country – some of whom will become TFA Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators

Adamawa Town Hall Meeting October 13 Meeting with communities of young people, especially youth leaders, outside of the country – some of whom will become TFA Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators

Port Harcourt Town Hall Meeting October 21 Meeting with communities of young people, especially youth leaders, outside of the country – some of whom will become TFA Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators

Asaba Town Hall Meeting November 25

Meeting with young people, especialy youth leaders, in the zone – some of whom will become TFA Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators to continue to drive publicity and voice share in the zone
Benin Town Hall Meeting November 26 Meeting with young people, especially youth leaders in the zone – some of whom will become TFA Ambassadors, Campus Representatives and State Coordinators to continue to drive publicity and voice share in the zone
3. ‘Get Your Green On’ Style Campaign December Style campaign is launched with a network of designers, make-up artists and accessory stickists in the media [we will be kicking this off with a fashion show at the Nominees Reception]
4. The Nominees Reception (for Charity) December 14 Formal presentation of nominees to the media and presentation of nomination certificates
5. The “Do Something” Pre-Award Conference 3rd week in January A Pre-Awards  conference with an impressive list of speakers & panelists answering direct, practical questions from young people
6. The Future Awards 7th February 2010 The grand awards event

(Keynote Address to be delivered by World Bank Managing Director, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala)

9. The Aspire Viewing Centre 7th February 2010 Neighbouring venue from the main event venue for students to watch the event LIVE
10. The Winners’ Afterparty 3rd week in February 2010 Exclusive weekend for two for all winners, judges and select partners. (It held last year at the Miccom Golf Resorts in Osun State)
11. The Post-Award School Seminars March to July 2010 We take winners around schools in the country to interact directly with young people and share their practical experiences. It also seeks to supplement education efforts in the country
11. The Winners’ National Tour March – July 2010 Courtesy Visits to ministers, governors and key public officers and media editorial boards to present this new generation of Nigerian leaders and further drive media visibility and voice share.
