Our Vision

Posted by admin On October - 6 - 2009

Our defining vision is to sustain our present momentum as Nigeria’s most effective youth development/change communication tool, and ultimately stretch this message across the continent to other African societies in need of active youth contributions.

our vision

OUR MISSION

1) To capture the mass media and use it as a tool to positively re-direct the minds of young people; especially Nigerians and Africans in general

2) To stimulate and support entrepreneurship across sectors/create businesses and jobs to further empower the youth population

3) To foster interaction and synergy between young people across board

4) To employ sustained positive images of young people to correct stereotypes and to give a proper vision of Africa’s future

5) When people work hard to make change in society, especially young people; they should be rewarded and encouraged to do more

WHY DO WE DO THE FUTURE PROJECT

1)      We wanted to counterbalance the continued wrong information and perception about young people by showing concrete evidence of the positivity across the nation.

2)      Many of the change and youth projects in Nigeria and the rest of the continent; were not connecting with young people because they were clichéd and uncreative. The methods and tools needed to be changed.

3)      Too many people had lost hope in the Nigerian/African project as well as the Youth Agenda and we wanted to restore that.

4)      To force those who have become apathetic about Nigeria and Africa to pay attention, and to care about their country and continent i.e. to renew patriotism, especially in the next generation.

5)      To prove to young people that they can develop themselves and succeed despite the harsh Nigerian/African environment by showing them examples of others like themselves who conquered the same challenges.

6)      We simply asked ourselves: If not us, who? If not now, when?
